Properties: Light yellow powder (granules), odorless, non-toxic, specific gravity 1.5. Soluble in chloroform, benzene, acetone, carbon disulfide; slightly soluble in gasoline and carbon tetrachloride; insoluble in water and dilute alkali.
Applications: This product is used as an auxiliary accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and latex. Since it decomposes to release free sulfur upon heating, it can also be used as a vulcanizing agent, with an effective sulfur content of 58% of its mass. As a vulcanizing agent, it is relatively safe at operating temperatures, and the vulcanizate exhibits excellent heat resistance and aging resistance. This product can serve as a primary accelerator in chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, and butyl rubber. When used in combination with thiazole accelerators, it is particularly suitable for nitrile rubber, resulting in vulcanizates with superior compression set and heat resistance. In the production of latex foam, it is recommended to use it in combination with accelerator WILLING MZ. This product disperses easily in dry rubber and also in water. It is non-staining. It is commonly used in the manufacture of heat-resistant products, cables, etc.

Storage: Should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Packaged products should be kept away from direct sunlight. Shelf life: 2 years.
